The Solve ME/CFS Initiative has a great webinar series that you should check out regularly. Their last was with ME/CFS expert practitioner Susan Levine, available in it’s entirety, below. Dr. Levine covers a wide variety of topics, including the severe shortage of qualified ME/CFS experts, ways to address the overwhelming ignorance of the disease among medical practitioners in the U.S., current and future studies, ways to accurately identify, treat, and research the disease and much more.
Given the widespread ignorance of most doctors in the U.S. about this illness, sufferers of ME/CFS have no choice but to seek out such knowledge in order to educate themselves and their doctors. This is just one of many ways to do that. The Solve ME/CFS Initiative has dozens of presents like this one available on their you tube channel for your perusal. I recommend you subscribe so you’re notified of new videos and/or join their webinars live so you have a chance to ask questions. They also have a plethora of resources on their website.
Their next webinar scheduled for April 21, 2016 features Dr. Avindra Nath discussing his upcoming NIH sponsored study on fatigue which has stirred some controversy in ME/CFS community for it’s design.
