Zebra Pit Gear is Here!

Zebra Pit Baseball ShirtThis year for my birthday, I’m asking everyone to buy themselves a gift. That’s right. I don’t want you to buy me anything. I want you to buy yourself one of these nifty custom Zebra Pit tees instead! Zebra Pit Shirts

I’m launching my first ever fundraising campaign for the Zebra Pit on my birthday to celebrate another year of living this luxurious spoonie lifestyle. Just a few years ago, I didn’t really think I’d be here for many more birthdays until I figured out how to improve my health with the things I share here on my blog. To me, that makes every birthday pretty doggone special, and it’s a good time to raise awareness, so others who have this condition can also learn about it and how to get the help they need, too.

I still have so much more to say and share with you, but I need funds to get the job done! That’s where doing things like this t-shirt campaign comes in. You buy a t-shirt and I make a modest profit from the proceeds and we all get to spread a little awareness, both about spoonie conditions and the resources available at the Zebra Pit!

Navy Zebra Pit Logo TeeEven though I’ve had to put some of my time aside to look for a job due to financial constraints, I’m still fully dedicated to making the Zebra Pit bigger and better and eventually coming back to it full-time. It may take time, but with persistence, I know it can become one of the best resources of health and wellness information for spoonies around!

By helping the Zebra Pit to cover operating costs, you’re helping people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Hypermobile Spectrum Disorders (HSD), Fibromyalgia (FMS), Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and/or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Mast Cell Activation Disorders (MCAD, MCAS, mastocytosis, histamine intolerance, interstitial cystitis), chronic migraine, chiari/CCI, CRPS, gastroparesis, IBS, SIBO, dysautonomia (POTS, NMH, OI, etc.) and others to receive valuable information and insights into how to treat these conditions from people with these conditions. We still have so much left to cover.

By buying a shirt, you’re contributing to the continued success of the Zebra Pit, which means you’ll be helping people who are struggling every day with debilitating symptoms and pain find the right diagnoses and treatments so they can get the relief they need. In return, you’ll have my undying gratitude, a great new shirt and awareness tool and the assurance that I can keep the Zebra Pit going as a valuable resource for us all.

Zebra Pit Sweatshirt in MaroonT-shirts, baseball shirts and hoodies with the Zebra Pit logo will be available now through the end of the month. Be sure to buy yours before they’re gone: Shop Zebra Pit Shirts

Alternatively, if you don’t want a tee or prefer that 100% of the funds you’re contributing goes towards the Zebra Pit, you can make a contribution directly to my paypal account here: Paypal for Capricious Lestrange

I’ll probably order one of the baseball shirts. I don’t know why, but I really like the cut! I cant’ wait to wear it and show it off! While I’ve designed other shirts for businesses I’ve worked for, this is the first time I’ve had something with my own brand on it. I hope you too will join me in wearing these stripes with pride!

P.s. This shirt could come in handy for a fundraising challenge I’m planning for the Ehlers Danlos Society in May. Be prepared to show your stripes!

  1. Finding the funds needed to keep going as a blogger is hard, so I love what you’re doing with this because the Zebra Pit definitely is a great resource for all of us ‘spoonies’ out there. The designs are awesome, I really hope you do as well as possible with this! =]

    1. Thanks Caz! So far it’s going better than anticipated, so that’s a good sign! I think I just needed a break and a shift in perspective and got back to the drawing board, so to speak! Thanks for all your encouragement. You’ve been so kind. Xx

    1. Thanks so much! The indigo is one of my favorite options, too 😁 It’s a Gilden brand hoodie with a 50/50 blend of cotton and poly. Usually if you wash them the first time or two in cooler temps you’re safe enough, but cotton can shrink. Whatever you choose, I hope it brings comfort and happiness for a long time to come!

            1. That’s great, Dawn…. that you think you’ve found it. Discovering my primary was instrumental to getting things figured out and it’s usually a relief to know and start getting some answers. Let me know how I can help! You’ll find all of my social media accounts so you can follow whatever you like by clicking the icons near the top on the side bar. And yes, I’m on em all, pretty much! 😂 It would be really goid for you to follow on FB, as I share my older stuff, too so you’ll see lots of articles of interest to you rather than rooting through archives and the like.
